Google Pixel 8 Pro Summary
The 6.7-inch Super Actua display on Google’s flagship Pixel 8 Pro smartphone has a refresh rate of 120Hz and a maximum brightness of 2400 nits. 12GB of RAM, the Titan M2 Security Coprocessor, and the Tensor G3 chipset power it. With a triple camera setup consisting of a primary 50MP Octa PD wide camera, a 48MP Quad PD ultrawide camera, and a 48MP Quad PD telephoto camera, the phone offers up to seven years of OS and security updates. A 48MP Quad PD ultrawide camera, a 48MP Quad PD telephoto camera, and a 50MP Octa PD wide camera make up the rear camera setup.
In addition, the Pixel 8 Pro has an IP68 rating to protect it from dust and liquid spills, as well as a 10.5MP selfie camera. In addition, it features an under-display fingerprint sensor, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and several AI improvements. Along with Live Translate, real-time message transcription, sign translation, and the Call Screen feature that lets Google Assistant recognize and weed out spam calls, the phone also offers these other features.
The Pixel 8 Pro has new AI-powered features, an enhanced camera, and an improved Google Assistant. The device has a price of ₹1,06,999 (12GB/128GB, only one variant) and a 5,050mAh battery that can support both 23W and 30W wired charging. When compared to the 12MP ultra-wide images from the Pixel 7 Pro and Pixel 8, the phone performs better in ultra-wide photography, offering greater detail and crisper images.
With AI being the main focus this year, the Pixel 8 Pro comes with Google’s customized software features along with Android 14. With AI features like Audio Magic Eraser for video noise reduction, Magic Editor for background adjustments, subject repositioning, lighting changes, and the Best Take feature that lets you swap heads and faces in group photos, Google Photos stands out from the competition.
